The bay of Amoudi is located on the narrow north gate of the Caldera lagoon of Santorini with Caldera and little Port Panorama, having as background the Thirassia Island.
From the end of the Pedestrian Street of Oia just follow the stairs going down to Amoudi Bay or you can reach it by car following the car road that takes you straight to the Bay. The area provides public Parking space, which is rare for cliff hotels.
If Santorini is unique in the world, Amoudi bay with its little fisherman village, with the little port of transparent blue watersand the traditional fisher boats, its famous fish restaurants, and its sunset view, is unique on Santorini.
Offering the possibility to swim in many spots from the dock in the bay, one is Katharos beach, but also the crystal blue waters around the famous little rocky island with St. Nicholas church on it, approximately 300 meters from the Villas where you can swim enjoying the famous sunset. Every Day there are many Cruises departing from the little port towards the Volcano Islands and beautiful Catamaran trips that give access to the, hardly accessibly by land, colorful beaches of the South (White Beach, Red Beach, Green Beach – known also as Lovers Beach). The big Cruise Ships and the sailing boats that are passing silently close to the Bay, look like giving a parade in front of the Balconies just for the privileged eyes of Amoudi Villas Guests.
